Psychedelic therapy & support with spiritual emergence
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic therapeutic treatment modality that pairs traditional psychotherapy with a psychedelic medicine called ketamine. Ketamine is a legal, safe and effective medicine used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, general/social/specific anxiety, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, phase of life challenges, apathy, and chronic pain.
The use of ketamine within a culturally-informed therapeutic container can support people to better identify and work through challenging experiences and behavior patterns, providing new insights and deep healing that might not have been possible otherwise.
I work with people to identify their goals or intentions, think through safety considerations, and prepare for possible outcomes. Once the experience is complete, we work together to integrate insights into daily life and embody these changes. Sometimes the experience is challenging, and we work together to create a narrative of the experience that promotes safety, stability, and soft landing for your nervous system.
While traditional therapy is usually a weekly or biweekly appointment, the shaping of KAP and psychedelic integration can look quite different. If appropriate, we may meet short term on an as-needed basis. I am also able to provide adjacent/adjunctive services if you are already seeing a therapist.
KAP is only available to adults 21 years of age or older.
